Come in your comfiest clothes and join us at Hillel for some yummy snacks and great company as we relax after a long orientation day! Welcome to everyone — come meet your Class of 2026 peers and hang with us!

First-Year Shabbat Friday 9/2/22
Experience what Shabbat is like at Tufts Hillel! Starting with great food and Shabbat-themed music on Tisch roof. Afterwards there will be Reform and Conservative Shabbat services outside. Dinner is at Hillel. We’ll wrap up the first Shabbat of the year with dessert and board games. Whether you celebrate every week or it’s your first time, this is for you.
6:00pm Reform Services at Garden outside Hillel (After 5:30pm food and music, students will walk from Tisch Roof to Hillel together to begin their services.)
7:15pm Dinner at Hillel - Registration required

Shabbat Services and Lunch Saturday 9/3/22
Join our Conservative minyan for their first Shabbat morning service of the year! Warm, participatory, and spiritual services will be followed by a relaxed Shabbat lunch. Whether or not you make it to services, you should absolutely come for lunch! Don’t forget to register by the 31st and bring your Tufts ID. Please CLICK HERE to register for lunch.

Havdalah and JP Licks Saturday 9/3/22
Class of 2026, come say goodbye to a packed first Shabbat at Tufts with Havdalah, a brief practice that holds space for the transition from Shabbat to the rest of our busy week over wine, spices, and candlelight. Right after we’ll head over to J.P. Licks in Davis Square for ice cream. It’s on us!

Bagel Brunch Sunday 9/4/22
Join us for the tastiest, bagel-iest, can’t-miss, event of the semester. Tufts Hillel presents our annual Bagel Brunch with performances by all campus a capella groups! Have a hankering for a Bagel? Just want a free breakfast? No matter the reason, we will have a bagel for you!
