While we hope our humanity will unite us, too often we are divided by differences. Visions of Peace works to overcome these differences through projects that encourage the peaceful co-existence of Israelis and Palestinians.

The initiative unites several existing programs and offers new ways for students to work together toward tolerance, empathy, and reconciliation in the Middle East. Through this collaboration, we actively strive for a time when Israel and Palestine will live side by side in peace and security.

Tufts Hillel is deeply committed to engaging with all students on campus in dialogue about productive ways to resolve the conflict and bring about a sustainable peace. Our goal is to use the creativity, activism, and resources of the Tufts University community to build bridges, both on campus and abroad, and to support the on-going efforts of several organizations working to bring Israelis and Palestinians together.

There are many ways you can take an active role in cultivating peace, coexistence, and understanding. Our on-going initiatives include:

Building Bridges Collaborative

Building Bridges connects students with organizations that bring Israelis and Palestinians together to further peace. Learn about and get involved with a range of joint activities in business, medicine, the environment, technology, education, and the arts as well as cultural exchange and dialogue. Plan creative programs, speaker events, fundraisers, film screenings and more to support the work of these important groups.

Tufts Students for Two States

Tufts Students for Two States is a broad coalition of pro-Israel, pro-peace groups at Tufts University. The coalition believes that peace will be achieved through a two-state solution, and that this represents the best future for both Israelis and Palestinians. Show your support and sign their petition.
