Hillel Community Action Partnership

Hillel Community Action Partners (HCAP) is an initiative new to Hillel in 2022. Hillel in currently working in partnership with local school to provide after-school activities for local middle school aged students.

Building Bridges

Building Bridges is an initiative centered around creating meaningful conversations across differences. The class focuses on learning and practicing dialogue skills while engaging in discussions about American ethics across religious and political divides. A diverse cohort of students attends class each week, and three student interns of multiple faiths facilitate the sessions, supported by the Associate Director at Hillel.

Gesher

Our campus has been missing dialogue. Many of us have been wrestling with complicated thoughts and emotions, and divisions in our community have been highlighted. “Gesher: Building Bridges” is a Tufts Hillel initiative aimed at facilitating dialogue and bridging the divides within the Jewish community.

Visions of Peace

While we hope our humanity will unite us, too often we are divided by differences. Visions of Peace works to overcome these differences through projects that encourage the peaceful co-existence of Israelis and Palestinians.

Read by the River is a campus-wide literacy initiative that celebrates the love of books and reading.
