Tufts Hillel is an organization that is for students and run by students. At the heart of Tufts Hillel is our student board and our committees. We offer creative and unique programs that are conceived and developed by you, to educate, inspire, and bring together other Tufts students.
The Tufts Hillel Student Board is on the front line of a broad range of educational, cultural, social, religious, and social justice programming. Board meetings are held weekly. Led by an student executive team working with 8 committees, the Board plans and organizes events, lectures, classes and special activities that reflect the interests, intellect, and humanity of our diverse student body.
For students whose time is more limited, leadership opportunities are still available as student Program Coordinators (ProCos). ProCos are social entrepreneurs who can experiment with new ideas and formats, plan short term projects, and not have to commit to a full semester. By getting involved, you’ll receive board training experience and build leadership skills - in areas ranging from event planning and design, to publicity and outreach, to logistics and budgeting. Intrigued? Contact the Vice President of Engagement.
Attend one of our monthly “Think Tank” meetings and tell us about an idea for a program you would like to run. With guidance from the Vice President of Engagement and other board members, you’ll be able to watch your idea come to life. The choice is yours and the possibilities are endless. Bring us an idea and get involved.
