Funding Opportunities
Your gift, no matter the amount, provides meaningful Jewish experiences that enrich the lives of Tufts students and strengthen the Jewish community far beyond campus.
We encourage alumni, parents and friends to give at the level they are comfortable with -- from $18 to $50,000 or more, and everything in between.
With a student population that is approximately 25 percent Jewish, your support of Tufts Hillel shows your commitment to creating an innovative and vibrant community in which students can explore the issues that are essential to their lives.
The Tufts Hillel Annual Fund is like our checking account – it contains funds for current use. Each year, Tufts Hillel must raise enough private philanthropic support to cover the main portion of the cost of our programs and initiatives.

You may extend your support by giving an outright gift or making a pledge, payable by June 30. Making your commitment as early as possible in the academic year helps us plan.
Donors who give $1,000 or more in an academic year form an exceptional core of alumni, parents and friends. Leading by example, their generous gifts to the Tufts Hillel Annual Fund have a direct and immediate impact on Jewish life at Tufts.

Endowments are funds intended to be kept permanently and invested to provide income for on-going support. The Tufts Hillel Endowment Fund is, in part, a collection of permanent “named funds” that support specific purposes such as Cummings/Hillel Program for Holocaust & Genocide Education and the Neubauer Executive Director as well as the Tufts Hillel general endowment. These funds are invested carefully to achieve a conservative yet healthy rate of return that provides for both current needs and long-term growth.
